Terms of Service
When you work with Dybar Lwoux, we establish a professional relationship based on clarity and mutual respect. These terms outline what you can expect from us and what we need from you to deliver quality mobile solutions.
Service Engagement
Every project starts with a conversation. We discuss your needs, explore possibilities, and figure out if we're the right fit. Once we agree to move forward, we'll provide a detailed proposal that covers scope, timeline, and investment required.
Projects typically begin within two to three weeks of agreement signing. Sometimes sooner if schedules align, sometimes a bit longer during busy periods. We're honest about our capacity because rushed work helps nobody.
Project timelines are estimates based on our experience. Variables like feedback speed, scope adjustments, and technical complexities can shift schedules. We stay in touch throughout the process.
Payment Structure
Most projects follow a milestone-based payment schedule. You'll see progress before each payment is due. Initial deposits typically cover design and planning phases. Subsequent payments align with development milestones and final delivery.
We accept bank transfers to our Egyptian account. Payment terms are outlined in each project agreement. Late payments can affect project timelines, which we'll discuss if it becomes relevant.
Intellectual Property
Once you've completed payment, the custom work we create for you belongs to you. This includes designs, code specific to your project, and documentation. We retain rights to our general methodologies, frameworks, and tools that we use across multiple projects.
Third-party components, libraries, and platforms come with their own licensing. We'll clarify these during the project if they're relevant to your specific situation.
Confidentiality
Your business information stays with us. We don't share project details, business strategies, or technical specifications with others. If you want to use an NDA, we're happy to sign one before starting detailed discussions.
Project Changes
Requirements evolve. We get it. Small adjustments during development are normal and usually manageable within the original scope. Significant changes might require timeline or budget adjustments, which we'll discuss before proceeding.
Privacy Policy
We collect only information necessary to deliver our services and maintain client relationships. This section explains what we gather, how we use it, and how we protect it.
Information We Collect
When you contact us or work with us, we collect:
- Business contact details: name, email, phone number, company information
- Project-related information: requirements, preferences, technical specifications
- Communication records: emails, meeting notes, project discussions
- Payment information: invoicing details, transaction records
How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to deliver services, communicate about projects, process payments, and improve our work. We don't sell your information to third parties. We don't use it for marketing unless you've specifically requested updates from us.
Project-related data helps us understand requirements and deliver solutions that match your needs. Communication records ensure continuity if team members change or if questions arise later.
Data Storage and Security
Client information is stored on secure servers with encryption and regular backups. Access is limited to team members who need it for project work. We use industry-standard security practices, though no system is completely immune to risks.
Project files are retained for a reasonable period after completion in case you need support or adjustments. We can discuss specific retention requirements if your situation calls for it.
Your Rights
You can request to see what information we have about you, ask us to correct inaccuracies, or request deletion of your data after project completion. Some information might need to be retained for legal or accounting purposes, which we'll explain if relevant.
Limitation of Liability
We work carefully to deliver reliable solutions, but technology projects involve inherent uncertainties. While we test thoroughly and aim for quality outcomes, we can't guarantee that every mobile solution will be completely free of issues in every possible scenario.
Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific project in question. We're not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or consequential losses. This might sound formal, but it's standard practice that allows us to take on projects without unreasonable risk exposure.
Warranty and Support
Delivered solutions include a warranty period during which we fix defects or errors at no additional cost. The specific duration is outlined in your project agreement. After the warranty period, we offer maintenance and support services on a fee basis.
Support doesn't cover issues arising from modifications made by others, incompatibilities with new third-party updates, or changes to your hosting environment. We'll assess specific situations as they come up.
Termination
Either party can end the relationship if circumstances require it. If you decide to stop a project mid-way, payment covers work completed to that point. If we need to end an engagement, we'll provide reasonable notice and deliver work completed to date.
Material breach of these terms by either party gives the other the right to terminate immediately. We hope it never comes to that, but the provision exists for clarity.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by Egyptian law. Any disputes would be resolved in Egyptian courts. If you're based elsewhere, this might seem inconvenient, but it provides us legal clarity as an Egyptian business.
Changes to These Terms
We review these terms periodically and update them when necessary. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new date. Significant changes affecting active projects will be communicated directly.
Questions About These Terms?
